Account deletion

Delete your GymTribe account and data.

GymTribe is an app by Sambangi Inc. You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what is kept.

In the app

Delete your account from your profile.

  1. Open GymTribe and sign in.
  2. Go to your Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away.

Without the app

Ask us by email.

If you no longer have the app, email support@gymtribe.fitness from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

What is deleted

Your account and what you recorded in GymTribe.

Deleting your account removes your account and contact information and your tracking information, such as meal logs, photos, nutrition values, targets, water, sleep, weight, progress, streaks, workouts, and trainer-client relationship settings. Trainers you were connected with can no longer see your information.

What is kept

Only an encoded identifier, to prevent abuse.

After account deletion, we keep a one-way cryptographic fingerprint derived from a verified account identity to prevent repeated trial, referral, and usage-limit abuse. This record cannot be used to sign in or restore an account.

Subscriptions bought through Google Play or Apple's App Store are managed by that store. Deleting the app does not necessarily cancel a subscription, so cancel it in the store you bought it from. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more.
